Tea Tree oil comes from the leaves of the melaleuca tree. The oil is steam-distilled from the leaves.
Tea Tree has antibacterial and antifungal properties.

Here are some easy to follow recipes to help you use Tea Tree oil!!

Acne:
1 part tea tree oil, 2 parts witch hazel  and apply to the skin
Remove Makeup:
50ml spray bottle, fill to 30ml with witch hazel and 10 drops of tea tree oil with 7 drops of lavender oil. Shake real well then apply spray on your face until makeup is removed.
Vaginal Odor:
5 drops of tea tree and 5 drops of lavender with ½ cup of water; wash area with this after every urination.
Dandruff:
take 2 tablespoons of olive oil. 2 tablespoons of honey and 5-6 drops of tea tree oil. Mix well and apply to your scalp before washing your hair.

Face Toner

Ingredients
  • 1 medium sized cucumber
  • Few fresh Basil leaves 
  • 5 drops of tea tree oil
Steps
  • Peel the cucumber and cut into small pieces. Put cucumber pieces and a handful of washed basil leaves in a blender and make a smooth running paste or you can directly extract the juice from juice maker machine.
  • Run this paste through a strainer or a sieve or an old but clean handkerchief or a cheese cloth.
  • Put the mixture in a spray bottle. Now add few drops of tea tree oil and rose water in the bottle and shake it well to mix all the ingredients.
How to apply
  • Apply the toner to your freshly cleansed skin using a cotton ball or pad, avoiding the eye area.
  • Apply usual, daily oil free moisturizer after the toner has dried. You can also keep it overnight and then rinse it in the morning.
  • Always shake the bottle before applying toner on face.
Repeat daily, twice for fast result.
Notes
  • The toner can be used for 4-6 days.
  • Store the toner spray bottle in a refrigerator.
  • You could use the cucumber pulp left on the sieve as face pack mixed with yogurt and lemon to treat acne or as an eye mask.
